Description
A dormer window, this dollhouse miniature is 1:12 scale. This is a classic dormer window for the second or third story of a dollhouse, it is designed for a 45 degree pitched roof. The dormer covers a roof area 6 1/4 inches wide x 7 inches high and 7 1/2 inches deep, the window opening is 2 1/2 inches wide x 3 inches high. Made of wood, it is #7017 from Houseworks, Ltd., Atlanta, Georgia, dated 1982. It is new old stock sealed in the original package.
All of my dollhouse miniatures come from the estate of a collector who died in 2006 at age 93. She was the child of a Naval officer who lived much of her life overseas, she never married and was a huge collector of dolls and dollhouses.
