Description
A hanging sign bracket, this dollhouse miniature is 1:12 scale. It has the look of cast iron, I am not really sure whether it is made of wood or metal – the package is sealed and I don’t want to open it – but it does have the look of cast iron, which is nice. It measures 2 1/8 inches wide by 15/16 inches high, the two loops to hang a chain from are 1 3/4 inches apart. This is from Betty’s Wooden Miniatures, a division of Smith Wood Products, Chicago, Illinois, their item # 42. It is new old stock sealed in the original package.
All of my dollhouse miniatures come from the estate of a collector who died in 2006 at age 93. She was the child of a Naval officer who lived much of her life overseas, she never married and was a huge collector of dolls and dollhouses.
