Synopsis

Revillon Freres was a furrier company with fur trading posts throughout Canada and luxury stores selling furs in the United States and Europe. Mallet was President of the firm, and as such, spent a part of each year inspecting the company’s fur trading posts throughout the frozen lands of the Far North in Canada, where Arctic life was hard but one with nature. In this book, he recounts tales of life as he observed it in the vast lands of Northern Canada over the span of twenty years.
