“Amish Country Cookbook” subtitled “Favorite Recipes Gathered By Das Dutchman Essenhaus.” Published by Bethel Publishing in 1979, the cookbook is a wire spiral-bound soft cover measuring 5½ x 8¼ inches with 301 pages. It is in very good gently used condition with light wear to the covers; flipping through quickly the pages looked clean and unmarked except for an inscription on the first page but many pages have been folded as markers for favorite recipes.

Das Dutchman Essenhaus Restaurant in Middlebury, Indiana, a family-owned restaurant, serves more than 7,000 meals each day. People come to taste dozens of authentic Amish dishes like Rhubarb Butter Crunch and Shoo-Fly Pie. Restaurant owners Bob and Sue Miller share some of their favorite Amish recipes, along with traditional Midwestern fare, in this Amish-Country Cookbook. Contributors are named.
