Description
A package of wood stair rails, these dollhouse miniatures are 1:12 scale. These are classic stair rails, there are 2 sets – top and bottom – in the package, each is 18 inches long. The top and bottom pieces are grooved to accept Centurian balusters #7202, for use with Centurian newel posts for an elegant staircase. The measurements are: top rail: 18 inches long x 1/4 inches wide x 1/4 inches high; bottom rail: 18 inches long x 5/16 inches wide x 5/32 inches deep. These are from Houseworks, Ltd., Atlanta, Georgia, dated 1979, their item # 7220. They are new old stock sealed in the original package.
All of my dollhouse miniatures come from the estate of a collector who died in 2006 at age 93. She was the child of a Naval officer who lived much of her life overseas, she never married and was a huge collector of dolls and dollhouses.
