“Championship Dutch Oven Cookbook” by Val and Marie Cowley. Originally self published in 1988, this is a 16th printing from 1994. The cookbook is a plastic-comb spiral bound soft cover measuring 7 x 8½ inches with 84 pages. It is in excellent gently used condition.
A good dutch oven is essential to the cowboy and home cook, as much as it was to the pioneer and colonial cooks of the past. The authors have been cooking with Dutch ovens since they were married in 1973. They’ve been entering outdoor cooking contests since 1977 and have established a reputation in Utah for fine food and good cooking. They present here a collection of their favorite recipes, developed and adapted especially for Dutch ovens.
