A miniature doll dress pattern from EmanJay Patterns by Marie Wheat. This is number E-706, an English gown circe 1715 – 1720. Sold in the 1980’s, the pattern is uncut, it is new old stock.
From the directions: This costume is designed to fit the Emanjay “Natural” mannequin. The materials and trims required are given in rounded yards or parts of yards. This pattern uses: 5″ x 22″ dark material for outer skirt, 5″ x 22″ for underskirt and ruffle. Small piece of white material for petticoat and 1/2 yard silk ribbon for bows.
All of my dollhouse miniatures and mini doll supplies come from the estate of a collector who died in 2006 at age 93. She was the only child of a Naval officer who lived much of her life overseas, she never married and was a huge collector of dolls and dollhouses.
