“Of Pots and Pipkins” cookbook. Compiled and published by The Junior League of Roanoke Valley, Inc. in 1971, the cookbook is a sixth printing from 1975. The cookbook is a plastic-comb spiral bound soft cover measuring 6 x 9 inches with 210 pages. It is in good used condition, most of the pages are clean and unmarked, there are some notations in ink on the title page.
A community cookbook featuring recipes of the South handed down from generation to generation, contributors are named. Some of the recipes included are: Nanny’s Sally Lunn, Flower Garden Cake, Coupe Gertrude Lawrence, Piccalilli, Chicketti, Sea King Dinner and Sally White Cake.
