A waltz, Peggy O’Neil (“Peggy O’Neil is a girl who could steal any heart, anywhere …”) was written about Margaret (Peggy) O’Neil (16 June 1898 – 7 January 1960) an Irish-American vaudeville actress. The song became very popular, and was covered several times. John Laurenz is featured on the cover.
