Published in 1950, the cookbook is a plastic-comb spiral-bound soft cover measuring 6 x 9 inches with 250 pages, it is in very good gently used condition, the pages are clean and unmarked, there is a name written in pencil on the first page.
This cookbook consists over 1000 favorite recipes. The Pennsylvania State Grange is the state’s largest rural-farm organization with over 42,000 members. Organized in 1867 as a farm fraternity, the Grange represents citizens in 550 rural communities and is chartered in 66 of Pennsylvania’s 67 counties. Farm wives cook everyday, they know their livestock and their produce, and how to best use them to feed hungry families.
