“A Handbook for the Exhibition Buildings of Colonial Williamsburg” given with the purchase of a block ticket or available for separate purchase for 35 cents. Published in 1937, the book is a soft cover measuring 5¼ x 7½ inches with 79 pages. It is in good gently used condition with some wear, the pages have darkened.
Both a history and a guide, the book includes: The Old Court House; The Capitol; The Public Gaol; The Raleigh Tavern; The Ludwell – Paradise House; and The Governor’s Palace. It is a very good historical survey of Colonial Williamsburg, filled with odd facts and information about life during the time period as well as particulars on each building.
