Description
A vintage zip up men’s sweater from the United States Post Office. This is old, retired, not a current uniform. It dates probably from the 1970’s, possibly the early 1980’s, as it belonged to my dad who retired from the Post Office in 1986. He was one of those guys who wore the same exact thing every day until it was ragged and filled with holes, while brand new identical clothing sat in his closet. So the sweater is new, never worn. The tags are marked 100% Virgin Wool … 46. The measurements are:
Collar to hem: 28 inches
Shoulder to shoulder, across the back: 18½ inches
Armpit to armpit, across the front: 19 inches
Sleeve inseam to end of cuff: 20 inches
It is in as brand new condition, I took pictures using different lighting effects to give you a good idea of what it looks like.
