“Wolf Creek Cooking” cookbook subtitled “The Good Cooks of Beaman, Iowa..” Compiled and published by the members of the Evening Circle of the Beaman United Methodist Church; it was published in 1991 and is a first edition, first printing, so stated. The cookbook is a plastic-comb spiral bound soft cover measuring 6 x 8½ inches with 298 pages. It is in very good used condition with light wear, the pages are clean and unmarked except for one page we saw that had a stain on it when we flipped through quickly.
A community cookbook filled with family classics, contributors are named. Recipes include: Louisiana Butter Pecan Coffee Cake; Polish Mistakes; Bohemian Coffee Cake; Kolacky; Lima Bean Broccoli Casserole; and Wild and Cheesy Chicken.
